A downloadable game for Android
Yanvar aims to port and replicate the January 2017 period of Rec Room for Quest headsets, with as little compromises as possible to keep things authentic.
Featuring the classic and iconic baked lighting of older Rec Room versions, better physics interactions, a smaller and simpler collection of Rec Room Originals plus 3 unreleased Rec Room Originals, teleport-locomotion only, custom additions, and most importantly, wiggly bodies.
Although it's recommended to play on a Quest 3 or 3S for the most stable and authentic experience, Quest 2 players are able to play with some compromises, and may experience quicker battery drain.
Yanvar is a non-commercial, community-driven project designed to preserve the charm of early Rec Room experiences. A majority of the code and assets used in Yanvar are credited to Rec Room Inc., with gratitude for their original work and creative contributions. Yanvar does not aim to profit from or monetize these assets in any way.

Install instructions
Use either Mobile VR Station, CX File Explorer, SideQuest, or anything that allows you to sideload APKs onto your Quest headset.

download the apk on the meta quest and get a app that allows you to install apks then play but keep on re-downloading it because when it updates it doesn't auto update

extraordinary stuff. when i played this for the first time, i almost cried.
will there ever be a fix for dodge ball on Meta Quest 2? the problem im having is that when i throw a ball and clearly hit a player it does nothing. And when i ask people that out me "are you on quest 3?" they always say yes. Its just really inferiating and i avoid dodge ball at all costs.

Did you figure out a fix? im having the same problem
Try ensuring Yanvar can use the internet, if you have and it still doesn't work, I'd personally uninstall it and install it again and see if that helps.

DONT DOWNLOAD IT WILL GET UR WIFI AND RECORDINGS
The first one is for being able to connect to the servers, the second one is to record your microphone audio for others to hear, the third one is to be able to check/toggle your microphone permissions. I'd suggest you research Android permissions before posting this type of stuff.

record_audio is for voicechat, modify_audio_settings is stuff for like push to talk, internet is just for connecting, getting your recordings is stuff for gif cameras, and video cameras
